The tables are full and I’ve moved to the floor, seeking room to spread out. I’ve spent the evening pouring casts; it’s systematic, peaceful even, setting up the molds and securing the braces.
Space can be tight, but in this instance it’s a good problem to have and one that translates into a productive day. This session has yielded several casts, which are quickly congealing. The studio is quite, with just the hum of the blowers circulating air. My energy level is declining, so unmolding will have to wait until morning.
New work will be uploaded into galleries soon, so stay tuned.
