Experimental Exhibition

The process of installing an exhibition was eye opening. You have to consider the space in which you’ll be exhibiting, how viewers will flow through the space, the lighting, your pieces being united with those you’ll be exhibiting with, professional presentation, and not to mention the installing of work itself. Prior to this I had very little experience in mapping out an exhibition layout, finding the correct mounting points, etc. This was a learning experience, and I am better for having. Any time in I can get a different perspective of something, I always walk away with more appreciation for what goes on behind the scenes.

Here are a few pictures of the install, enjoy! Hope to see a nice turn out for the Closing Reception on Thursday May 3, 2012.

We had a number of supporters come out and assist us, making the install a smooth and stress-free process. Thanks to Libby, Sam, and all of the Art Handlers.
